Michael Mateyko is one-half of KOMBOH, a joint creative venture with fellow recent ACAD graduate Hans Thiessen. His illustration work often deals with harsh geometric shapes representing overly-friendly subject matter, a seemingly absurd combination. He lives in Calgary, Alberta, where he listens to surf-rock, draws on his computer, and fights the urge to “get a real job”.

San Diego Comic Con 2009 was a first for Nation Toys & TeesI With 500,000 people attending the conference, spanning 4 days we managed to make it home unscathed. While most of the lineups were a minimum of 2 hrs long we managed to acquire some limited edition vinyl, and though we couldn't get much, we do have a few goodies for you!  We will be making these available for sale this First Thursday at 6PM on a first come first serve basis.
